The new grant just launched by the European Geosciences Union (EGU) introduces the possibility of applying for reporting in any language in use in Europe.
The topic of the Science Journalism Fellowship for journalists is ongoing research in the Earth, planetary and space sciences, and the applications will have to be written in English, but “the final projects
produced by EGU Science Journalism Fellows can be in any European language”, EGU announced.
Grantees will receive up to €5k to cover expenses related to their projects, including following scientists on location.
The deadline for applications is 13 December 2019.
